据全国农业技术推广服务中心预测分析,2004年蝗虫、小麦条锈病、水稻迁飞性害虫和螟虫、草地螟、棉铃虫等重大病虫害将严重或偏重发生。预计全年农作物病虫发生面积约50亿亩,需要防治面积55亿亩次左右。一、蝗虫预计夏季东亚飞蝗发生面积1650万亩左右,需要防治约1200万亩。环渤海湾沿海蝗区、黄河河泛蝗区大部、微山湖蝗区局部仍将偏重发生,其他蝗区大部中等或偏轻发生。由于残蝗密度分布不均匀,蝗区生态条件复杂,高密度蝗蝻点片出现较多,夏蝗防治难度较大。
