人们所说的材质是指材料本身的质地,肌理是指材料表面的纹理,材料与肌理在艺术设计中的应用非常广泛。因此,对各种材料、肌理结构的认知和写真特写的表现,在现代艺术设计中,占有特殊的地位,甚至现代造型艺术的思考也源于材料、肌理的启迪。因此,在设计中要能发现材料的美感并加以充分合理的应用,在创造自然美、形态美、层次美、抽象美的同时,使文化感、历史感得到进一步的延伸。
