各位学者,我首先代表北京外国语大学英语学院欢迎大家参加第二届《翻译界》高端论坛及全国“一带一路”翻译研究学术研讨会。正如彭龙校长所说,北外的翻译学有悠久的历史。它曾经承担过毛泽东选集等领袖作品的翻译,也承担过2008年奥运会申办文件的翻译;它曾培养过几代国家领导人的高级翻译,也创办过联合国高级翻译译训班。这些都是可圈可点的历史,每一段历史都值得北外人自豪,但是在创办翻译学期刊方面,我们是滞后的。北外有《外国文学》、《外语教学研
Ladies and gentlemen, first of all, on behalf of the English School of Beijing Foreign Studies University, I welcome everyone to attend the second high-end forum of the “Translation Sector” and the National Symposium on Translation Studies of the Belt and Road. As President Peng Long said, Northern Translation Studies has a long history. It has undertaken translations of leading works such as the Mao Zedong anthology and has also undertaken the translation of bid documents for the 2008 Olympic Games. It has trained senior leaders of several generations of state leaders and founded the United Nations Advanced Translation Course. These are remarkable historical records. Each history is worth the pride of the outsiders, but we are lagging behind in creating translation journals. North has “foreign literature”, "foreign language teaching and research
