在赞比亚华人圈中有不知中华商会会长是何许人的,也有不认识中国驻赞比亚大使的,但不晓得“金筷子餐馆”和“金筷子大酒店”的老板刘大妈的人却很少。刘大妈1952年出生在四川,十多年前随当厨师的丈夫老李闯进非洲,从乌干达干到赞比亚,白手起家,如今也已建起价值逾百万美元的家族产业,麾下有三家中餐馆,两家在赞比亚首都卢萨卡,一家设在赞比亚旅游胜地——利文斯顿,还有一家酒店和一个小农场。
