国际上把每年的5月1日定为“五一”国际劳动节。新中国成立以后,中央人民政府政务院于1949年12月将5月1日定为法定的劳动节。每年的这一天,全国都举行各种庆祝集会或文体娱乐活动,并对有贡献的劳动者进行表彰。“五一”国际劳动节来临之际,我们从山东省档案馆馆藏中选取了建国初期劳动者为建设新中国辛勤劳动的部分照片档案,让我们再次回首,重温那个激情燃烧的岁月。
Internationally, May 1 of each year is designated as “May Day” International Labor Day. After the founding of New China, the Central People’s Government Administrative Office in May 1949 set May 1 as a legal Labor Day. On this day of the year, various celebrations or sports and entertainment events are held across the country and the working laborers who make contributions are honored. On the occasion of the May Day International Labor Day approaching, we took a partial photo archive of the hardworking workers in the early days of the founding of New China for the construction of new China from the collection of Shandong Provincial Archives. Let us look back again at that passionate burning year .
