胃酸最高分泌量(maximal acid Outp-ut,简称MAO),与壁细胞群存在着正比关系。现已明确,十二指肠溃疡患者与其他胃、十二指肠疾病及正常人相比,MAO 呈现高值,壁细胞数量也多。此种胃酸分泌功能升高及壁细胞增多,虽然简单理解为十二指肠溃疡的发生原因,但有时存在一定矛盾。据认为,刚诞生的时候,壁细胞并不太多,而是后天性增多的。20岁以下青年人的十二指肠溃疡,酸分泌并不亢进。
The maximal acid outp ut (MAO) is proportional to the number of parietal cells.
