本文采用中介语对比分析方法,选取possible和likely为节点词,基于语料库FLOB和CLEC,探讨中国英语学习者和英语本族语者在possible和likely上的使用差异。研究表明:学习者对possible存在过多使用和使用不当的情况;对likely存在过少使用和对其用法掌握不够等情况。
In this paper, we use the method of interlanguage contrastive analysis, choose possible and likely as node words, and discuss the differences in the possible and likely use between Chinese EFL learners and English native speakers based on corpus FLOB and CLEC. The research shows that learners have too much use and improper use of the possibilities, too few to use and insufficiently grasp their usage.
