This paper introduces the practice of Yunfeng Power Plant in carrying out the state maintenance of hydro-generator set, monitoring from mechanical vibration to fault diagnosis. The importance and necessity of the overhaul of mechanical and electrical equipment in hydropower plant are illustrated.
