狍属鹿科美洲鹿亚科动物,第2、5侧掌骨仍留远端,而梅花鹿、马鹿的相应第2、5侧掌骨留近端,故商品狍筋可见此骨,而梅花鹿、马鹿筋商品见不到此骨,两者有较大的区别。
