庞加莱是一位颇有影响的数学全才和哲学家,同时也是一位物理学家和天文学家。庞加莱在众多科学领域中都作出了突出的贡献,他留下的内容极为丰富的著作深刻地影响着后代学者。由于复杂的原因,我国学术界直到今天也只有少数专业工作者了解庞加莱,一般人则对其人其事非常陌生,这与庞加莱在科学事业上的伟大贡献和学术地位极不相称。为了使更多的读者了解认识庞加莱,并对混沌理论研究的起源有所了解,特撰文简要介绍这位科学巨人的一生及其在科学上的贡献。
Poincaré is an influential mathematical talented and philosopher, also a physicist and astronomer. Poincaré has made outstanding contributions in many fields of science. His extremely rich writings have profoundly influenced future generations of scholars. Due to the complex reasons, until now, only a few professional workers in our country have known Poincaré in the academic circles of our country. Most people are strangers to others. This is incompatible with Poincare’s great contribution and academic status to science. In order to make more readers understand Poincare and understand the origins of chaos theory, this essay briefly introduces the life of this scientific giants and their contribution to science.
