灵宝铸鼎塬是黄河中游南岸的一个相对独立的地理单元,其中分布有25处仰韶文化不同发展阶段的聚落。在早期阶段,聚落分布疏少且规模小,聚落群的结构层次不甚明显。在中期,聚落分布稠密且出现了包括中心聚落、一级聚落等在内的四个层次结构,显示出当时社会的复杂化进程。在晚期,聚落显衰微之势,聚落群的层次结构也有新的变化。
Lingbao Ding Dingyuan is a relatively independent geography unit on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yellow River, in which there are 25 settlements of Yangshao culture at different stages of development. In the early stage, the settlement was sparsely distributed and small in scale, and the structural level of settlements was not obvious. In the medium term, the settlements are densely distributed and there are four levels of structures including central settlements and first-level settlements showing the complexity of the society at that time. In late stage, the settlement showed a declining trend and new changes were also found in the hierarchy of settlement groups.
