末次冰期向冰后期过渡阶段气候快速变化事件,尤其是“新仙女木”(Younger Dryas)事件,已成为过去全球变化研究的热点之一.这里简要报道对北京房山长沟镇东甘池(39°32'N,115°47'E)古湖沼沉积物剖面气候环境变化代替性指标的研究结果. 房山长沟镇西北坟庄、东甘池一带位于太行山北段山前残丘和洪积扇间洼地.以往研究表明,这一带具有埋藏约4 m厚的淤泥、泥炭等古湖沼沉积物.1992年秋我们在东甘池开挖了8.6m深探槽,揭露的沉积物层序、岩性及结构都与坟庄钻孔及坟庄北探槽的十分相似,自上而下为:
