人的美包括人的外在美与内在美两方面,而内在美是人的美的核心,是衡量人是否美的主要因素。一个人如果只追求外在美,而忽视内在美的修养,那么即使他长得再好看,打扮得再时髦,也只能是“金玉其外,败絮其中”,不是一个完美的人。在封建社会,那种“世人徒尚修其容,而莫知缮其性”的不良风尚也会受到批评,我们今天建设社会主义精神文明,更要强调人的内在美。人的内在美表现在人的性格、行为和才能两个方面。性格、行为也就是指人的思想、感情、道德、情操、意志和审美观等。人的性格并不是停留在一般的静止状态中,它必须通过各种社会实践在行为中表现
Human beauty includes both external and internal beauty of human beings, while internal beauty is the core of human beauty and is the main factor in measuring whether people are beautiful or not. If a person only pursues the external beauty and ignores the cultivation of the inner beauty, even if he looks good and looks stylish again, it can only be “gold and jade, ridiculous”, not a perfect person. It must be represented in the behavior through various social practices.
