Andrew Gals, chief editor of the Financial Times, believes that whether the financial media is a general newspaper or not, the crux of financial reporting is not the size of the layout, but the depth and breadth of it can surpass those of other rivals. Through the news clues and creative platform, trends and consequences of news developments, future events and social phenomena to be tapped and grasped, financial reporting has a forward-looking and predictable.
