曾彦修(1919~2015),四川宜宾人,早年向往革命,奔赴延安入陕北公学,并加入中国共产党,先后在中共中央政治研究室和中共中央华南分局宣传部工作,历任南方日报社社长、人民出版社副社长兼副总编辑等职。1957年“反右”时,作为“反右”领导小组组长的曾彦修,宁可把自己划为了“右派”也不愿牵连他人,享誉士林。在《九十自励》一诗中,他也写道:“夜半扪心曾问否,微觉此生未整人。”
