In order to understand the genetic effect of long-term low-dose ionizing radiation on the peripheral blood of radiation workers, 55 industrial inspectors of a state-owned enterprise in Gansu were professionally inspected for their occupational health, and their peripheral blood genetic effects were observed during 2007-2009. Peripheral blood lymph Chromosome aberration rate, micronucleus rate and the total number of white blood cells (WBC), platelet count (PLT) test results were statistically analyzed. The results showed that there was no significant difference in chromosome aberration rate, micronucleus rate, WBC and PLT in 2009 between the observation group and the control group (P> 0.05). PLT in 2007 and 2008 was higher than that in the control group , The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Prompted that long-term low-dose ionizing radiation on the industrial testing of peripheral blood cells have a certain radiation damage effects, employers and workers should raise awareness of radiation protection, and constantly improve the protective measures.
