所谓诚信为本,是指经纪人应该以诚实守信为中介活动之根本准则,不欺骗坑害客户;所谓公关为要,是指经纪人应该努力建立和保持与其公众的亲密联系和相互理解,并把它作为工作之要点。 为什么经纪人一定要讲诚信呢?这是由其工作性质决定的。现以交易所经纪人为例来说明这个问题。交易所经纪人地位特殊,接受客户委托而成为交易场内买卖的当事人。倘若他们不讲诚信,欺骗客户,有舞弊行为,其后果不堪设想。然而,经纪人见利忘义的情况也时有发生。交易所经纪人可以利用以下几种手法进行舞弊:
