学习任何事物都有必要弄清其根基所在。学习一门语言则也应是如此。本文则试图通过对英美历史文化的讲授在英语教学中的重要地位的简单阐释来解决英语教学中遇到的一些问题。作为一种舶来品,英语总是让学生感到既新鲜又陌生,英语学习的过程中又总是受到种种本土思想的牵制。如果一个老师总是扎根于中国的历史文化环境中进行英语教学,那么,我几乎可以断定,这个老师的英语教学永远都是滞留在语法抑或是词汇层面上的。可以毫不夸张地说,这样的教育行为是失败的。
Learning everything is necessary to understand its roots. Learn the same language should be the case. This article attempts to solve some problems encountered in English teaching by simply explaining the important position of English and American history and culture teaching in English teaching. As a kind of exotic, English always makes students feel both fresh and strange. The process of learning English is always restrained by all kinds of local ideas. If a teacher is always rooted in the history and culture of China for English teaching, then I can almost conclude that the teacher’s English teaching is always stuck in the grammar or vocabulary level. It is no exaggeration to say that such an act of education is a failure.
