梅耶荷德对梅兰芳艺术评论的文字主要保存于话剧《仙子的学生们》、《论梅兰芳的表演艺术》以及《艺术的强大动力》三份文献中。三份文献中梅耶荷德的发言具有相似性。通过对相关文献的比勘,可以认定《仙子的学生们》中梅耶荷德的台词基本上是袭用《论梅兰芳表演艺术》一文。《论梅兰芳的表演艺术》一文与会议记录《艺术的强大动力》中梅耶荷德发言具有“亲缘”关系,其孰先孰后涉及《艺术的强大动力》的最早发现者是不是拉尔斯·克莱贝尔格先生的问题。
