张家港市在全国县城经济百强县(市)中列第三位,先后荣获了“国家第一批卫生城市”、“环境保护模范城市”、“全国生态市”、“双拥模范城市”、“中国优秀旅游城市”、“国际花园城市”、“全国文明城市”等90多项国家级荣誉称号。张家港市位于长江下游南岸,历史上曾经多次发生重特大水灾,严重危害和影响了当地社会经济的发展和人民生命财产的安全。多年来,张家港在如何兴修水利,根治水患方面做了大量卓有成效的探索和努力,取得了巨大的成就。先后取得了全国水资源工作先进集体、全国水利文明单位、全国农田水利基本建设先进单位、全国农田水利基本建设先进市、全国节水型社会建设示范市等称号。今年,中央经济工作会议提出,要把大力发展水利事业放在重要高度,如何落实贯彻中央一号文件,也是“十二五”期间农村经济工作的重点。张家港在水利工作方面的经验值得关注和借鉴为此,本刊特发表张家港发改委的文章,以飨读者! Zhangjiagang City ranks third among the top 100 counties (cities) in the county economy in the country and has successively won the title of “the first batch of national health cities”, “model city for environmental protection”, “national ecological city” “Double support model city”, “China Excellent Tourism City”, “International Garden City”, “National Civilized City” and so on more than 90 national honorary titles. Zhangjiagang City, located on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, has suffered heavy floods many times in history, seriously jeopardizing and affecting the social and economic development and the safety of people’s lives and property. Over the years, Zhangjiagang has made a great deal of fruitful explorations and efforts in water conservancy and flood control and has made great achievements. Has made the national advanced collective work of water resources, the national water conservancy units, the country’s advanced unit of farmland water conservancy construction, water conservancy construction of advanced cities nationwide, the national water-saving society construction demonstration city and so on. This year, the Central Economic Work Conference proposed that the development of water conservancy should be vigorously carried out at an important height. How to implement the document No. 1 of the Central Government is also the focus of rural economic work during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period.
