广西与越南山水相连,有钦州、南宁、百色三个地区的防城、宁明、凭祥、龙州、大新、靖西、那坡7县(市)与越南的广宁、谅山、河江4个省的18个县接壤,边界线长达1020公里,总面积1.84万平方公里,人口240多万。拥有120多万人口的北海市处于北部湾畔,西濒越南。这一得天独厚地缘优势,为广西发展边境贸易提供了优越条件。但是,由于人所共知的原因,中越边境贸易一度中断。改革开放以来,广西把发展对越边境贸易作为扩大开放,促进经济发展的一项重要措施,积极恢复和发展扩大边境贸易。
There are 7 counties (cities) in Fangcheng, Ningming, Pingxiang, Longzhou, Daxin, Jingxi and Napo in the three areas of Qinzhou, Nanning and Bose, Guangxi and Quang Ninh, The four provinces of the four rivers bordering 18 counties, the border line up to 1020 km, with a total area of 18,400 square kilometers, population 2.4 million. Beihai, a city of more than 1.2 million, is on the banks of Beibu Gulf and west of Vietnam. This blessed geographical advantage provides Guangxi border trade with superior conditions. However, for reasons well known to all, the border trade between China and Vietnam was once cut off. Since the reform and opening up, Guangxi has taken the development of cross-border trade as an important measure to expand opening up and promote economic development and has actively restored and developed its border trade.
