计算机网络是计算机信息类专业的一个重要知识模块,不仅理论性强、动手能力要求高,而且需要掌握通信原理的相关知识,可以说是一门跨专业学科。受学科的交叉性和多种技术集成等因素的影响,计算机网络课程涵盖了计算机基础知识、计算机程序设计和网络数据库等理论性和实践性均相当强的课程,因此在指导学生学习枯燥、抽象的理论知识的同时,如何安排相关实验课程就显得尤为重要。所以,只有把理论知识与实践相结合,才能使学生真正理解和掌握理论知识,同时也才能提高学生的实践能力,从而达到理论与实践相互渗透、相融相通的目的。传统的计算机网络教学模式以教师为中心,重视计算机网络课程的理论教学,却忽略实践教学环节;同时,计算机网络实验内容分散、实验之间缺乏联系
