80年代末,突然间冒出了个柳苏。1988年一年间,中国思想文化界的重镇《读书》杂志,从第一期起,不间断地向读者推出了他的12篇同一主题的文章:香港文坛绍介。一篇篇地读下去,人们总是在等待着他的“下回分解”。可这一年的大雨倾盆之后,紧接着的,居然只是些零星小雨,1989年2篇,中间的1990年、1991年还跳了过去,1992年计3篇,而在这之后,就连这点点小雨也不见“零星”了。读惯了的,一旦读不到了,难免要滋生出一点失落的情味来。是有点遗憾,但这遗憾恰好也证明了柳苏的成功:他的香港文论在内地是大受欢迎的,读者已以自己的真诚情怀接受了他。
