60年代后期就曾进行过生产超纯钢的工艺试验。这一工艺称之为WORCRA(Worner andCRA Ltd,)连续炼钢法,它具有非常高的精炼效果。这一工艺的过程是:高炉铁水当其流过一个槽形炉时,采用连续喷吹氧气和炉渣逆向流动的方法使之精炼。炉渣的逆向流动是在钢流出端挡渣墙附近添加石灰熔剂来实现的。炉渣被迫流向(重力下)炉子的铁水端附近的流出口。在炼钢反应区生成泡沫渣,从而几乎不产生火焰,这工艺得到的铁的收得率很高。
The late 60s had conducted the production of ultra-pure steel technology test. This process is called WORCRA (Worner and CRA Ltd) continuous steelmaking method, it has a very high refining effect. The process of this process is as follows: blast furnace hot metal as it flows through a trough furnace, using a continuous injection of oxygen and slag reverse flow refining method. The reverse flow of slag is achieved by adding lime flux near the slag outflow wall of the steel. The slag is forced to flow to the outlet near the hot metal end of the furnace (under gravity). Foam slag is generated in the steel-making reaction zone so that almost no flame is generated, and the yield of iron obtained by this process is high.
