国民政府行政院旧址位于重庆市渝中区中山四路36号重庆市委机关大院内,现为中共重庆市委八号楼。国民政府行政院成立于1928年10月,按孙中山所设计的五院制组成,下辖分掌各相关行政事务的部委署。1932年颁布的《国民政府行政院组织法》规定,行政院下辖10部,分别是:内政部、外交部、军政部、海军部、财政部、实业部、教育部、交通部、铁道部、司法行政部。抗日战争全面爆发后,国民政府西迁重庆。迁渝后的国民政府行政院主体建筑坐落在上清寺党政
