SiGe Semiconductor Introduces Its New Family of Global Positioning Services (GPS) Devices The First Product in the Series is the SE4100 Receiver IC with Baseline Power Consumption, Small Size, and Cost Low, long battery life, for automotive, navigation and other purposes. The SE4100 receiver is a SiGe-based receiver that integrates an IF filter, a voltage-controlled oscillator, an oscillatory loop and a low-noise amplifier packaged in a small 4 × 4 mm box. The entire receiver circuitry is integrated into one device, reducing material usage compared to most other commercially available devices, thereby reducing cost, reducing form factor, and ease of assembly, fabrication, and testing. The SE4100 receiver IC uses a 2.7 V power supply and typically draws 10 mA. Low power consumption, high-performance low-noise
