大型工件的大平面精加工是重型机械、造船、冶矿机械等行业机械加工中急待解决的课题。我厂在生产实践中,原来常用的硬质合金刀片不重磨式端铣刀盘,在精加工大型平面时,很难满足对于尺寸、形位精度和光洁度要求较高的工件的加工。 1982年初,我厂承接了某船厂的大型机座的精加工任务。在TPM-3521龙门铣床上,使用了引进的端铣刀精加工11000mm×3000mm大平面,加工后,全面积不平度最大偏差仅为0.13mm,光洁度稳定在▽6~▽7,铣削性能很好。为解决大平面的精密加工,我们吸取了国外的先进经验,参阅了有关资料,经过一段时间的实践摸索,设计和研制了SF-1型大平面精密加工用高效低耗端铣刀(以下简称高精端
