黔东南的傩戏,分布在州境的岑巩、黄平、施秉。丹寨、三穗、麻江、凯里、镇远、天柱、锦屏、黎乎、从江诸县,均属黔东南周边地带。尤以岑巩、黄平、丹寨、施秉、镇远等县较为集中。汉、苗、侗、仡佬、土家等民族中均有傩戏。傩戏称谓各地不一,有端公戏,傩坛戏、傩堂戏、跳坛戏、喜傩神、魈愿戏、草愿戏、竹愿戏、还愿戏、木脑壳戏、撵鬼戏等多种。
