微波功率模块是美国国防部电子器件咨询小组提出的一种新概念功率器件,适应雷达、电子战系统的需求。本文介绍了一种数字化毫米波微波功率模块(Microwave Power Module,MPM)的系统组成及关键技术。分析了模块采用独立控制和集中控制两种方式的优缺点。论述了全数字微波功率模块的数字化设计,包含数字化高压电源、数字化幅相控制和数字化控制保护等关键模块。详细论述了数字化控制保护的组成、接口、定时控制、稳压控制及控制保护软件。最后对研制成功的数字化毫米波微波功率模块进行了测试,测试结果表明,输出功率、波形和带宽均达到了设计指标的要求。
Microwave power module is the United States Department of Defense Electronic Devices Advisory Group proposed a new concept of power devices to meet the radar, electronic warfare system needs. This article describes the system components and key technologies of a digital millimeter-wave microwave power module (MPM). The advantages and disadvantages of using two methods of independent control and centralized control are analyzed. The digital design of all-digital microwave power module is discussed, including the key modules of digital high-voltage power supply, digital amplitude-phase control and digital control protection. Discussed in detail the digital control protection components, interfaces, timing control, voltage control and control protection software. Finally, the successful development of digital millimeter-wave microwave power module was tested, the test results show that the output power, waveform and bandwidth have reached the design requirements.
