(一) 北京大学西南角,有个燕南园。这里花木扶疏,掩映着一幢幢青灰色的楼房。在园中林荫道上,我们碰到一个穿着半新灰布服的老人。他的身材不高,面容清瘦,缀上了几个暗紫色的斑点。不过,他那金色的瞳仁里的光辉,依然聪颖而澄澈。这位八十三岁的老人,就是我国著名美学家朱光潜。美学,仿佛是一门高深的学问,可望而不可即。但是,每个人看到一件事物,都会发表评论,“这是美的”,“那是丑的”。可以见得,每个人都是审美者,都有他的审美的感情和审美的能力。如果在这个基础上,进行一般的比较,分析和综合的思考工作,弄清楚人为什么爱美?

His body is not tall, thin face, decorated with a few dark purple spots. However, the glitz in his golden pupil was still bright and clear. The 83-year-old man is Zhu Guangqian, a famous Chinese aesthetist. Aesthetics, as if a profound knowledge, is expected. However, everyone sees one thing and comments, “It’s beautiful,” “It’s ugly.” Can be seen, everyone is aesthetically, have his aesthetic feelings and aesthetic ability. If on this basis, to conduct a general comparison, analysis and comprehensive thinking, to figure out why people love beauty?
