近来,我潜心研读了《徐特立传》,在我的记忆里似乎没有什么书比这本书更叫我激动和振奋。徐老十八岁开始教蒙馆,之后终其一生都在为民族教育奔忙,哪里需要教师,他就奔向哪里;哪里需要学校,他就在哪里创办。他一生创办了多少学校?我细心地做过统计,他一生创办了十几所学校,其中有小学、中学,也有师范和大学。梨江小学、五美初级小学、五美高级小学、红色小学、平民夜校,长沙师范、长沙女子师范、列宁师范、红军大学、延安自然科学院等等。
