苏联化学矿物原料科学研究所为科克苏矿提出的工艺设备技术任务书规定,在西露天矿采用半连续剥离运输工艺。计划在露天矿使用两套相同的运输机设备。每套设备包括(见下图):破碎装置1、提升带式运输机2(320米)、中间带式运输机3(350米)、排土带式运输机4(800米)及排土机5。运输机带宽1600毫米,带速为2.5米/秒。该系统的计算生产能力为2000米~3/小时。
