英国牛津大学整形中心研制的骨折治疗装置,目前正在英国的几所医院进行临床试验。试验表明,这种新型骨折治疗装置远远超过了以前的木夹板和石膏绷带的治疗效果。该装置的框架通过销子直接固定于骨折部位的两侧。另有,为使支撑更为牢固,利用金属棒以及连接该金属棒并使其经过一定间隔就振动的弹簧。这种结构的装置,能够促进骨折两端新细胞的生长。由于使用了连接计算机的高性能应变仪,所以不必通过拍照 X 光片也可掌握骨骼的恢复情况。这种装置实际上采用了先进的生物医学原理。
Fracture treatment devices developed by the University of Oxford Plastic Surgery Center are currently undergoing clinical trials in several hospitals in the United Kingdom. Experiments show that this new fracture treatment device far surpassed the previous treatment effect of splints and plaster bandages.
