Background / Aim: In 2003, the authors reported that the formation of acute aortic dissections in a small number of patients appeared to be related to high-intensity weight-lifting exercises. If we can identify more cases, weight-induced aortic dissection phenomenon will be further confirmed. A large number of cases of aortic dissection are reported in this article
