In this paper, the Claebout method is used to offset the superimposed seismic data. We briefly describe this method, taking into account some of the actual procedural problems and the type of error encountered . The resulting results match or exceed the results of other offset techniques. It is particularly advantageous: 1) A detailed velocity model can be used when offsetting. 2) The amplitude and characteristics of seismic events are preserved on the offset time profile.
