北京有色冶金设计研究总院隶属中国有色金属工业总公司,创建于1953年2月。该院现有职工1600多人,其中在职教授级高级工程师40人,高级工程师580人,中初级技术人员700多人。目前,该院设置有19个设计研究所、7个分院、47个专业、11个科研试验室以及为之服务的信息、档案、图书和打印中心等生产辅助部门,该院还兴办了一批以高科技为主的实业公司,并在境外建立了三个办事处。
Beijing Nonferrous Metallurgy Design and Research Institute under the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation, founded in February 1953. The hospital now has more than 1,600 employees, of which 40 serving senior-level professors, 580 senior engineers and more than 700 mid-level junior technicians. At present, there are 19 design institutes, 7 branch offices, 47 specialties, 11 research laboratories and production auxiliary departments for information, files, books and printing centers, etc. The institute also set up a number of High-tech industrial companies, and set up three offices abroad.
