为了给进出香港的旅客提供更为方便的交通条件,经与香港九广铁路公司充分协商,决定5月18日开行北京西至九龙97/98次,5月19日开行上海至九龙99/100次直通旅客列车。国务院副总理吴邦国为首发的97次剪彩。
