《随想录》是巴金晚年创作的一部重要的散文巨作,是当代文学中具有思想价值和艺术价值的重要文献著作。书中第一篇文章写于1978年12月,末一篇作于1986年7月,前后历时近8年,总数157篇,其中正文150篇、总序1篇,后记5篇,附录1篇、全部文章辑为五册:《随想录》、《探索集》、《真话集》、《病中集》、《无题》,每集收正文30篇。1979年12月至1986年11月,《随想录》一至五集相继由三联书店香港分店出版,北京人民文学出版社也将于1987年春出齐。 1983年9月以来,巴金将《随想录》原稿陆续捐赠中国现代文学馆,目前该馆已藏《随想录》(1——4)原稿一百余篇,这些原稿中的许多篇章里,作者都毫无保留地深刻剖析了自己的灵魂。体现了作者真实的人格。这对研究巴金晚年的思想艺术成就具有极高的史料价值。这部手稿是巴金拖着病弱的身体,以顽强的毅力写成的,是作者掏出自己燃烧的心,向社会和读者讲的
“Wandering Record” is an important essay masterpiece written by Ba Jin in his later years. It is an important literary work with ideological value and artistic value in contemporary literature.
