天高云淡,秋风送爽。新千年的第一个金秋,我们迎来了共和国母亲的51岁诞辰。在这举国同庆、振奋人心的曰子里,我们笑看回归后蒸蒸曰上的澳门,喜闻中国入世谈判取得重大进展,更有北京取得2008年奥运会申办资格的好消息传来,喜讯迭出,捷报频传,向祖国的51岁生曰献上了一份份厚礼。 对于中国海事界,最大的喜讯莫过于亚洲已缓解金融危机,中国经济在增幅持续下降后出现拐点,走出低谷,中国有望年内正式加入世贸组织。这意味着我国经济将广泛、深入地溶入世界经济的大潮。2000年港口、航运业形势大好,海上贸易繁荣,令中国海事界欢欣鼓舞。机遇与挑战并存,
