2014年8月,同万千经历过高考的学子一样,怀着对大学的无限憧憬,我踏入了西安交通大学(简称西交)。北门的浮雕和梧桐迎接我进入这所百年名校,从刻意保留的几所老建筑中依稀可以辨认出它古老的模样。大致逛了一下西交,它给初来乍到的我留下的印象极深,这是一个实验室比教室还要多的学校,各种实验室和车间分布于学校各处,足以看出西交有多么看重学生的实践能力。徜徉在这所校园中,有几分敬重,几分好奇,就这样,盼望已久的大学生活缓缓地掀起了它神秘的面纱。
In August 2014, like thousands of students who had undergone a college entrance examination, I embarked on a journey to Xi’an Jiaotong University (referred to as “Xi’an Jiaotong University”) for the infinite vision of the university. The relief of the north gate and the Indus welcome me into this century-old elite, and its ancient appearance can be discerned from several deliberately preserved old buildings.
