为期8天的国家测绘总局技术会议已经于2月12日胜利闭幕。这次会议完成了三个主要务务：一、检查了全局1959年执行现行规范细则图式的情况；二、讨论了各分局技术会议未解决的和其它单位提出的技术问题；三、总结了1959年科学研究和技术革新方面的成绩和经验，并制定出了总局1960年科学研究和技术革新计划以及1960年至1967年的科学研究长远规划。会议期间，对数量和质量问题，进行了较深入的讨论。通过讨论进一步明确了必须用“多快好省”的尺度来衡量我们的工作，不能顾此而失彼。
An eight-day technical meeting of the State Administration of Surveying and Mapping has already concluded successfully on February 12. The meeting completed three major tasks: First, examined the implementation of the overall situation in 1959, the current norms and diagrams of the situation; Second, discussed the branch of the technical meeting unanswered and other technical issues raised by the unit; Third, summed up 1959 achievements and experience in scientific research and technological innovation, and formulated the 1960 Scientific Research and Technological Innovation Program of the State Administration and the long-term scientific research plan from 1960 to 1967. During the meeting, the quantity and quality issues were discussed in more depth. Through discussions, we have further clarified that we must measure our work on the basis of “more efficient and better-performing provinces.” We must not overlook this.
