8月30日至9月2日期间,由东方海皇集团(NOL Group)总裁兼首席执行长官Flemming R.Jacobs(费嘉伯)先生领队的代表团,访问了北京和上海,会见了我国政府及工商界的一些重要领导人,探讨关于如何满足美国总统轮船有限公司(APL)在中国的客户的国际和本地需求的问题。APL是东方海皇集团公司的一个成员,从事船运及其相关业务的全球化运输及物流,以结合艺术性信息科技的高质海运、陆上运输及其它一些服务来满足全世界客户的业务需求。APL通过其子公司APL物流公司(以下简称APL物流)向国际托运人提供全球化的供应链管理服务。该代表团访问期间,本刊记者参加了“APL中国记者见面会”,与该代表团进行了礼节性的接触,撰写了这篇“APL物流公司亚洲战略”的通讯报道,以飨读者。
