走科学用地之路,助推区域经济发展,襄州区成功跃居湖北省县域经济实力六强湖北省襄阳市襄州区是全国粮、棉、油生产大区之一,也是襄阳的新兴城区和最大城区。近年来,为应对强劲的资源保护与保障压力,满足“四化”同步发展的土地资源需求,襄州区着力发挥区位优势,优化资源配置,大胆探索土地节约集约利用方式,国土资源开发利用效益和水平大幅提高,一定程度上解除了改革发展中国土资源的要素瓶颈制约,走出了一条转变土地利用方式助推区域经济跨域发展的科学用地之路。目前,襄州区已经跃居湖北省县域经济实力六强,而三年前的位次是第19名。
