从2003年起,我开始尝试在绘画中引入传统艺术的元素,一开始是《艺术人生》中的戏曲俑,后来是《中国风景》系列中的宋元壁画,最后是《寂地》系列里对中国山水画从笔墨元素、构图格局到水墨韵味的全方位借鉴。这是一个艰苦的试验的过程,也是一个充满了矛盾和内心自我质疑的过程,我希望在我的油画或者水彩——这样两种来自西方的绘画媒介中探求一种中国传统文化气质的转化或再生的方
Since 2003, I have started to try to introduce the elements of traditional art in painting. From the beginning are the opera figurines of “Art in Life.” Later on are the Song and Yuan murals in the “Chinese Landscape” series, and finally in the series of “Di Di” Chinese landscape painting from the ink elements, composition patterns to the full range of ink charm. It is a painstakingly experimental process and a process full of contradictions and inner self-doubt. I hope to find a way of transforming or combining Chinese traditional cultural qualities in my oil painting or watercolor - two kinds of mediums of painting from the West Reborn party
