霍氏啮小蜂Tetrastichus howardi Olliff是一种重要的蛹寄生蜂。作者于2013年9月,首次在广州地区台湾稻螟蛹上发现该蜂。文章记述了霍氏啮小蜂的自然寄生率、形态特征和部分生物学特性。对该蜂在水稻钻蛀性螟虫的应用前景进行了相应的探讨。
Tetrastichus howardi Olliff is an important pupal parasitic wasp. In September 2013, the author first found the bee on the rice borer, Rice borer, in the Guangzhou area. The article describes the natural parasitism rate, morphological characteristics and some biological characteristics of Hessler’s bee. The application prospects of the bee on rice borer borers were discussed.
