A good Anglo-American literary foundation helps teachers and students understand Western culture. At present, in English teaching, many people think Anglo-American literature is not important to non-Anglo-American literature students. This is actually a kind of misunderstanding. From the relationship between language and culture can be found. Anglo-American literature plays an important role in college English teaching.
