In his article “Revolution Proverbs” made in 1905, Qin Lianshan profoundly analyzed the reasons for the failure of the reform movement and clearly set forth the purpose and objectives of the revolution. He elaborated on the role of the revolution in detail and mobilized the mobilization methods and organizations required by the revolution the way. Through the interpretation of the above issues, it highlights the elements of constructing a modern nation-state and makes this article a more mature and complete program of democratic revolution on the eve of the 1911 Revolution. This condenses the thinking and exploration of the revolutionary road in theory and in practice from the pioneers of the early democratic revolution that turned from reform to revolution.
