大望路小学位于CBD核心区,至今走过了旧年的风雨历程,这是一所年轻而又充满活力的小学。学校坚持“教育即是服务,为学生的健康发展、和谐发展、终身发展打下坚实的基础”的办学理念,遵循学生的身心发展规律,践行“能文能武,身心两健”的校训,努力培养具有责任心的小公民。大望路小学是中华武术传统项目学校,也是朝阳区首批特色项目建设学校,形成了以“传承中华武术,弘扬民族精神”为学校特色的课题研究,将武德教育、民族精神教育融入校本课程体系,撰写了《中华武术》《中华经典诗词诵读》《祖国传统算术》《学唱民歌》《中国画》《民间工艺——剪纸》等学科校本课程。武术教育为学校走特色内涵发展之路注入了新的活力。同时,学校以英语作为学科突破口,借助攀登英语课题研
