众所周知,大多数齿轮的端部都要倒角,且为圆弧形。由于倒角时采用的是仿形法,所以倒角刀的刃部必须具有圆弧形刀刃,见图1。过去,工具车间在刃磨齿轮倒角刀时,将砂轮打成圆弧形,其圆弧半径与齿轮零件图上标注的R相同。这样磨出的倒角刀刃部并非圆弧形,而是一段椭圆弧,该椭圆长轴半径为2~(1/2)R,而短轴半径为R。即相当于两个轴线垂直相交,半径为R的两个圆柱体的截交线。既然两个轴线垂直相交,且半径相等的圆柱体相贯能得到椭圆形的截交线,那么反过
As we all know, most of the gear must be chamfered end, and arc-shaped. As chamfering is the use of profiling, chamfering knife edge must have a circular blade, shown in Figure 1. In the past, when the tool shop sharpened the chamfering gear, the grinding wheel was rounded, and the radius of the arc was the same as that marked R on the gear part drawing. The chamfered edge portion thus ground is not circular in shape, but an elliptical arc having a radius of 2 to (1/2) R and a minor axis radius of R.
