华铜矿入选含铜矿石以磁铁矿含铜型、矽卡岩含铜型为主。原矿含铜0.4%,含金为0.5~0.6克/吨。金在浮选过程中,富集在铜精矿中的回收率为52%左右。从多次流程考察中发现:金在粗选作业的回收率为75~80%,而在铜精选循环中(三次精选),有较多的金连生体、部分单体金被淘汰,随中矿返回到铜粗选作业中,造成了金在中矿中的恶性循环,最终从尾矿中流失,中矿金品位为2~3克/吨。华铜矿在1982年成功地用软复面固定溜槽回收尾矿中的低品位金。在小型和工业试验基础上,于1983年初,采用了浮一重联合流程,即在铜中矿返回粗选作业的回路中,用软复面固定溜槽选收铜中矿中的金。
